Consultation Poster

During January and February, members of the steering group visited seventeen separate interest groups in the local community to build up a holistic picture of what is required alongside any development to make the area a better place.  This will make up the Baseline Assessment.

CAAP Consultation

On February 15th 2007, the Craven Arms Community Evening was held at the Craven Arms Community Centre to celebrate the good works of the voluntary sector in Craven Arms.  Local people were also given the opportunity to contribute to the baseline assessment. Eighty local people attended.

A questionnaire was sent out to all households in the area during late January.  This was been designed to highlight local housing need as well as which parts of the draft base line assessment are the highest priority.

The results of that survey will appear here soon.

Following these two exercises the steering group assisted the planning department of South Shropshire District Council in drawing up an Issues and Options paper which will go out for consultation until 11 May 2007.

There are two consultation events running for the local community to find out more between 3pm and 8pm on 03 April and 01 May at the Craven Arms Community Centre.
